Refund policy

1. Our 30-Day Guarantee At Tranquille, we want your home to be a sanctuary. We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return. This is double the standard EU legal requirement, giving you extra peace of mind.

2. Eligibility & Condition To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unlit, unused, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

3. How to Start a Return (Free Returns) We offer Free Returns for our customers in Ireland and Germany.

  • Via Email: Contact us at hello@tranquillehome.com to request a return.

  • Via Withdrawal Button (Germany Only): In accordance with German law (§ 356a BGB), our German customers may also use the "Withdraw from Contract" (Vertrag widerrufen) button located in our website footer. This allows you to submit a digital withdrawal form without logging in.

If your return is accepted, we will provide a pre-paid return shipping label. Simply download and print the label, attach it to your package, and follow the instructions provided.

4. European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period Notwithstanding our 30-day guarantee, if you are shipping to the European Union, you have a statutory right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason.

5. Refunds & Original Shipping Costs Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval status.

  • Full Refund: If approved, you will be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days.

  • Shipping Refund: For all returns made within the 14-day statutory cooling-off period, your refund will include the original shipping costs paid at the time of purchase (€5 for Ireland / €8 for Germany).

6. Damages, Issues & Exceptions Please inspect your order upon arrival. If the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately at hello@tranquillehome.com so we can make it right.

  • Non-Returnable Items: We cannot accept returns on sale items, gift cards, or candles that have been lit/used.
